Whether your family is brand new to snowmobiling or your child is ready for more independence on the trails, the Oregon State Snowmobile Association's Youth Snowmobile Safety Program provides the knowledge, confidence, and certification needed to enjoy Oregon's winter recreation safely.
⚖️ Know the Law ⚖️
Youth under age 16 may legally operate a snowmobile without a driver's license after successfully completing an approved Oregon Snowmobile Safety Education Course. Oregon Revised Statute (ORS 821.150) Failure to comply may result in a Class D traffic violation with fines of up to $250.
